about

These songs were recorded back in 2018-2019 and now are officially released. Madi Simmons is performing his songs on the digital/semi-digital riddims created by Prince Riser.

The songs were not supposed to appear as an album and were meant to become a single releases, but as the time was passing, an idea to put them together and add a couple of dub versions started to seem more and more reasonable. As soon as the proper artwork was finished, it was a matter of days to release this material..

As a roots reggae singer, Madi is perfectly transmitted a conscious message, and delivers it straight to the listener's soul.

Emotional and solid lyrics, that will probably never loose it's relevancy, the sound, created with the legendary 80's analog and digital synthesisers, such as Yamaha DX-7, Casio mt-40, etc., are doing a good combination for sure..

It is necessary to mention the riddims that in fact are remakes/versions inspired by:

"House of Confusion" by Supa T for "Sword of Justice"

"Mark Of the Beast" by Lambert Douglas for "Grow Stronger"

"Icky All Over" by Wayne Smith for "Turn the Page"

"Move up the Man" by Mortie Butler for "Moving on Up"
